Coconut & Choc Chip Bars

Great arvo snack or sneaky before bedtime treat! These not too sweet, delicious bites also have that little hint of chocolate.


  • 180g desiccated coconut

  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds

  • 1/2 cup choc chips

  • 1/4 cup currants

  • 10 medjool dates, pitted

  • 2 tbs coconut cream

  • 2 tbs tahini

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • Pinch salt


Preheat oven to 180°C.

Process the dates, coconut cream, tahini, and vanilla until combined and smooth(ish).

Add remaining ingredients and process until combined.

Press into a silicon bar tray or a lined slice tin. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden. If using a tin you may need to bake longer. Allow to cool before removing from tray.

Store in an airtight container.
